Year 1 Academic year: 2023/24, Starting in: September

Notes:
To achieve the Master of Family Medicine you need 180 credits.
When studying on a part-time intermittent basis, you are free to choose between 0 and 60 credits each year and this determines the length of your studies. The minimum time you can take to achieve the Masters is 3 years and the maximum is 6 years.

The courses are all compulsory and Students are recommended to take Certificate Courses before Diploma Courses. Students wishing to take courses in a different order must first obtain approval from the Programme Director.

Students wishing to exit with a Postgraduate Certificate must complete all Certificate courses within 2 years. Students wishing to exit with a Postgraduate Diploma must complete all Diploma Courses within 4 years.

All taught courses must be taken before the Project. Please refer to the programme handbook for more specific progression criteria.
