Course description |
Students can choose between a research projects or practical project. Students will be instructed on the analysis and research methods required for the project and this approach is consistent with their approach for students (on other programmes undertaking a Masters dissertation) with no previous knowledge of social science methodologies. The project will draw on relevant aggregated learning outcomes of the programme and students will develop, with supervision, a science communication/public activity or area of research which they will analyse and reflect upon in a 12,000 word dissertation.
