| Summary | This course provides an advanced introduction to specific research methods and problems in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies. - Formulate a research problem
- Identify relevant sources and methodologies
- Provide a critical discussion of the relevant state of the literature
- Identify the main components of the introduction of a piece of research, and structure it accordingly
- Present a research problem in written form and orally in a concise manner
