On this route of study, students take a minimum of 40 credits (two courses), and a maximum of 80 credits (four courses) in each of their two years of study. Students studying part-time must take at least one course per semester. 120 taught credits must be completed before embarking on the dissertation stage.
The dissertation is compulsory and must be taken in the student's final year on completion of the taught element of the programme (ie 120 credits/six courses).

A maximum of 60 credits (three courses) may be selected from any one of groups A, B and C.
Group A includes International Commercial Law subject courses.
Group B includes Medical Law subject courses.
Group C includes IP, Media and Technology subject courses.
In Group B, there are two sub-groups. Students may take up to 40 credits from Sub-group 1, and up to 20 credits from Sub-group 2.
In Group C, there are two sub-groups. Students may take up to 40 credits from Sub-group 1, and up to 20 credits from Sub-group 2.
