On this route of study, students must take exactly 40 credits (two courses) in Year 1; 40 credits in Year 2 and 40 credits in Year 3. Students studying part-time must take at least 20 credits (one course) per semester. 120 taught credits must be completed before embarking on the dissertation stage.
The dissertation is compulsory and must be taken in the student's final year on completion of the taught element of the programme (ie 120 credits/six courses).

Please note that a maximum of 60 credits (three courses) may be selected from any one of Groups A, B and C.
Group A includes Commercial Law courses
Group B includes Medical Law courses
Group C includes IP, Media & Technology Law courses
Groups B and C also include sub-groups. Students may select up to 40 credits from Sub-group 1 in both Groups B and C, and up to 20 credits from Sub-group 2 in Groups B and C.
