Students complete one compulsory course, five specialised option courses and an MSc Dissertation in either Archaeology or Classics over the duration of the Degree. Courses run in either Semester 1 or Semester 2, the range of specialised courses will vary depending on staffing availability.

Ancient Worlds MSc Online Courses

Select between 0 and 60 credits of the following courses
Notes:
Students can take up to two 'fallow' semesters over the course of their studies, where they remain enrolled on the Programme, but do not register for courses.

Further to discussion with the Programme Director a student may also choose an option from the suite of level 11 courses offered by the School of History, Classics and Archaeology or from other Schools.

Please note that places on the courses are subject to availability and timetabling. Popular courses may fill up quickly.
