NOTE: As well as these courses listed in the Degree Programme Table, you may also take data science-related courses offered by other programmes in the University. For example, you may take ONE of the following machine learning courses: students who do not meet the pre-requisites for INFR11211 in Semester 1 can still be considered for the machine learning courses in Semester 2.
- INFR11211 Applied Machine Learning (Semester 1, 20 credit)
- INFD11005 Introductory Applied Machine Learning (Semester 2, 20 credit)
- MATH11205 Machine Learning in Python (Semester 2, 10 credit)
To take any of these three machine learning courses you must have experience with linear algebra, basic calculus, stats, and programming.
