Year 1 Academic year: 2024/25, Starting in: September

Notes:
The High Performance Computing (Online Learning) MSc can be completed in a minimum of three years and must be completed within six years.

It is made up of six compulsory courses (worth 70 credits). Students will then choose a further 50 credits worth of elective courses to make a combined 120 credits of taught courses. These 120 credits can be completed in a minimum of two years and must be completed within five years.

Students will then go on to complete a 60-credit dissertation project in their final year.

We recommend you speak with your Student Adviser, or someone in your student support team, to go over your course choices and desired completion timescale. We can advise you on the most efficient route through the MSc based on your circumstances and intentions.

Please note:
- Students are encouraged to take between 20 and 60 credits each academic year. You cannot take any more than 80 credits in any one year.

- Some elective courses will require students to have completed some of the compulsory courses first.

- EPCD11008 Project Preparation (HPC and HPC with Data Science) can only be taken in your penultimate year (i.e. the semester before you are ready to start the dissertation).
