Please note:
If a student has prior knowledge from a previous degree or previous learning, the Semester 1 course above (Situating Landscape Architectural Theory ARCH11272) may be substituted for an elective course of 20 credits with the written permission of the Programme Director. That substitute elective course would be 1 x 20-credit option from Level 10 and 11 courses in Schedules A to Q, T, W and Y in semester 1 only.

Where indicated some courses must be passed at 50% with 1 resit attempt.

Situating landscape architectural theory

Course options

Students cannot undertake both placements at the same European institution. They must choose a separate institution for each placement.

Placement 1 at Escola Tecnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona (ESTAB), Barcelona

Placement 1 at Ecole Nationale Superieure du Paysage (ENSP),Versailles

Placement 1 at Academie van Bouwkunst (Amsterdam)

Year 2 Academic year: 2024/25, Starting in: September

Students must take a total of 240 credits over 2 years, as laid out in this Degree Programme Table. ARCH11213 EMiLA Summer-school, Ecole Nationale Superieure du Paysage (Versailles) should be taken in the summer period between years 1 and 2, but will be examined in the January diet of year 2.
