Students wishing to pursue qualification towards legal practice in Scotland should note the courses required as indicated in the Degree Programme Table for the LLB Honours (Year 1 and Year 2) and the notes on progression towards legal practice. It cannot be guaranteed that a curriculum enabling progress towards professional qualification will be possible on this programme.
Please note, students who are retaking a compulsory course, or who have chosen to enrol in a course for professionally qualifying reasons, may have timetable clashes.
Students can gain a number of exemptions from the professional Accounting bodies (ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, AIA) but these exemptions differ according to each Accounting body. Further details are available from the Business School.
Courses accredited by the Accounting bodies in Year 1: ACCN08007 Accountancy 1A; ACCN08008 Accountancy 1B; BUST08014 Computing for Business.
