Students who have passed 240 credits, and achieved marks of 50% or more at the first attempt in all required second-year courses for their registered degree, are automatically entitled to progress to honours.

Students who are planning on spending their Junior Year Abroad must successfully progress to honours before they can proceed on their JYA.

Year 3 Academic year: 2024/25, Starting in: August

Notes:

Students who are planning on spending their Junior Year Abroad must successfully progress to honours before they can proceed on their JYA.

Year 3 students on a Junior Year Abroad must find a suitable equivalent course for 'Research Design in Politics and International Relations' that has been approved on their Learning Agreement by the PIR International Exchange Coordinator. If a student is unable to find an equivalent course for RDPIR, they must take RDPIR on their return in Year 4.
