Summary | The PDLDT-C course is an elective course for students within MSc Dance Science & Education programme and other students who are able to teach dance in the community. The community placement within this course is designed to support and challenge students, providing mentoring and coaching, feedback, opportunities to apply academic learning in a teaching context, and space for reflection. This will all be done within the supportive framework used for any student placement in a community setting. In addition, students will have access to a range of additional Professional Learning opportunities. This course is not accredited by the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS) and successful completion would not enable a student to apply for registration with the GTCS. |
