Learning Outcomes 
| On completion of this course, the student will be able to: 
        Be knowledgeable about the quantum description of electronic materials as applied to bandgap engineering. And 2.	Know the different electron transport mechanisms and density of states in low dimensional structures.Be able to design simple modulation doped high electron mobility transistors and microelectromechanical systems.Understand the underlying principles of operation of a range of contemporary display technologies.Appreciate the relative strengths and weaknesses of a range of contemporary display technologies.Know how to select a suitable display technology to be used in a particular product or application. |
