Summary | This elective aims to provide an advanced immunological understanding of malaria, arguably the most important parasitic infection of mankind and an outstanding challenge to practical immunology. The emphasis will be on human malaria, though animal models will be considered when appropriate to current hypotheses of immunity and/or pathogenesis. |
