Year 1 Academic year: 2025/26, Starting in: September

Notes:
This programme may be taken part-time over 2 years, although international students not residing in the UK must take the 1 year full time option.
On-campus students have the option of taking up to 20 credits of online courses.
Students must complete 120 credits of taught courses across the one or two years of study, followed by a 60 credit dissertation.
For the 2-year programme, it is recommended that students complete at least 60 credits of taught courses in the first year.

The focus of your dissertation must be on Education

There is also the possibility to exit with a PGDip (120 credits) or a PGCert (60 credits).

Notes:
We recommend that you take EITHER Introduction to Comparative Education (EDUA11437) OR Introduction to Education and International Development (EDUA11436) in Semester 1.

You MUST take a Moray House Level 11 Education course in Semester 2, or another equivalent level Education course.
