In order to achieve the degree Psychology (BSc Hons) students must meet BPS accredited degree requirements, more details on this can be read on the British Psychological Society Accreditation page on the PPLS Undergraduate Hub. Most importantly, when selecting your courses you must be mindful to select courses that cover a breadth of the required areas of study to meet these requirements. This will be across your Year 3 and 4 of study. Your course enrolment survey and guidance will help you do this correctly.

Students who meet the university requirements for graduation, but who fail to meet the BPS accredited degree requirements will be eligible for the award of the unaccredited BSc(Hons) Psychological Studies. It is a students responsibility to ensure they meet the requirements for accreditation, and if you do not you will be transferred to BSc(Hons) Pyschological Studies automatically before graduation.
