SummaryA proposal for the PhD project the student wishes to pursue in the PhD programme stage of the Wellcome Trust 4 year Programme in Hosts, Pathogens and Global Health.
Course description The students are required to prepare a dissertation and oral presentation describing the project they are proposing to carry out in years two to four of the Wellcome Trust Four Year PhD Programme in Hosts, Pathogens and Global Health.

They will be required to carry out in depth research into background and context of their proposed project, describe the realistic aims of the project, describe the techniques and methodologies that will employ, investigate the funding and resources (e.g. animal use) needed for the project and explore the potential impacts of their project.
