On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Conduct a sustained piece of independent scholarship in public health or public health policy
- Employ relevant concepts and theories in addressing policy and research questions
- Identify and use relevant literature critically and analytically
- Demonstrate an understanding of research methods and analysis appropriate to the dissertation topic
