  1. manage data and or research literature
  2. apply appropriate analyses techniques to any data collected
  3. interpret any data collected and write up the research in a style appropriate to psychological research standards
  4. report any data in a style appropriate to published research
  5. in the case of literature based research, apply suitable critical analysis techniques to the research material
