SummaryThis course enables current and aspiring leaders to examine strategic approaches to leadership and organisational change and incorporates the communication processes that are necessary to plan, lead and drive change.
Course description An understanding of the topics will enable leaders to lead change, use compelling communication to enable change, and to transform services, teams and processes.

The module consists of three units: Leadership, Change and Communication and combines taught sessions, with work-based tasks and assessments and directed reading, study and research. Its main aims are to increase awareness and impact of organisational behaviour on leadership, management and performance; enable current and aspiring leaders to understand and evaluate own leadership skills and styles and to know when and how to deploy a range of leadership styles to improve engagement; and understand the key theories and ideas behind highly effective and engaging presentations that invoke action.
