| Summary | This course will cover different theoretical and methodological approaches to conducting research in social psychology. This semester-long course is taught using a combination of lecture and seminar sessions. |
| Course description |
For the lecture part of the course, students will learn about a variety of classic and contemporary theories and methods used in the field of social psychology. For the seminar part of the course, students will take part in activities (e.g., class discussions) designed to foster critical thinking, integration and evaluation of theoretical and methodological claims, and research design.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe and evaluate different theoretical and methodological approaches within social psychology;
- Understand how the social world influences human experiences and interactions;
- Communicate and critically analyse classic and contemporary social psychology literature;
- Develop research designs to answer social psychological questions.
