Year 1 Academic year: 2026/27, Starting in: September

The order of courses taken for students in the 60/120 part-time option is compulsory. The first year focuses on training in foundational taxonomic skills and diversity knowledge, progressing to more derived knowledge and applied skills in year 2 to prepare students for the final thesis project.

Must be taken during Full Year

Taxonomy and Plant Collections

Must be taken during Semester 1

Diversity of Angiosperms

Must be taken during Semester 2

Research Skills for Plant and Fungal Diversity

Must be taken during Full Year
