This programme is intermittent, which means students have up to 2 years to complete the required Certificate level courses, up to 4 years to complete the required Diploma level courses and up to 6 years to complete the entire MSc.
MSc students must complete the taught element of the programme prior to commencement of the Dissertation element of the programme.
All students who commenced the programme prior to 2026/7 and who intend to complete the MSc must take either the Research Methods and Dissertation Planning (CAB) OR Research Methods & Data Analysis (A) in their Diploma years. Research Methods and Dissertation Planning (CAB) is compulsory for students who commenced the programme from 2026/7 onwards and who intend to complete the MSc.
Students intending to go on to the Diploma or MSc are strongly recommended to take Anthrozoology in their Certificate years.
