Year 1 Academic year: 2026/27, Starting in: September

Textiles Core Courses DESI08122 and DESI08121 must be passed to progress to Year 2.

To continue without the need for an extension to the total period of study, a full-time student must attain a minimum of 80 credit points by the end of Year 1. Total credits per year must equal 120.

Textiles 1A : What is textiles?

Must be passed and taken during Semester 1

Textiles 1B: The role of Textiles in Art and Design

Must be passed and taken during Semester 2

Modernism and After

Must be taken during Semester 2
