| Summary | This course will focus on the family medicine approach to NCDs in clinical practice. The course will integrate teaching on NCDs with principles and practice of family medicine, evidence-based medicine, quality improvement and aspects of professionalism taught in the first year of the programme. |
| Course description |
This course will introduce and integrate the assessment and management of non-communicable disease into the Family Medicine approach.
This will be broader than the clinical approach alone as it will incorporate the principles of family medicine including comprehensive and continuous person centred care, including aspects of disease prevention and health promotion.

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
