Students must pass a minimum of 80 credits to be eligible to progress into Year 2.

For timetable reasons, Latin and Linguistics may not currently be combined in this programme.

Entry into the third year normally requires:
(i) passes in 240 credits of courses taken in the first two years,
(ii) passes in Ancient Greek 2A and Ancient Greek 2B, or Ancient Greek 2a Ex-Beginners and Ancient Greek 2B, and
(iii) a minimum of 40% in each obligatory LEL2 course, achieved at the first or second attempt'

Entry to honours in Classics remains at the discretion of the Head of Classics in the light of performance across all courses.
