1. Attendance - in accordance with the BVM&S Attendance policy, attendance is expected at 100% of practical and tutorial classes for all courses. If you are unwell and cannot attend you should inform the Year Administrator and arrange to catch up on missed classes as per the above policy

3. Practical OSCE assessment.
5. Portfolio Submission - A complete portfolio must be submitted in Semester 2.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify and demonstrate the personal attributes and behaviours required of a successful veterinary professional
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with peers, tutors and members of the public, including demonstrating how to take a basic patient history
- Demonstrate a range of stage-appropriate common clinical techniques on veterinary simulators and mannequins in a clinical skills lab environment under timed conditions.
- Outline the basic steps involved in conducting a clinical examination of a patient and demonstrate these on the live animal
- Reflect on personal progress with professional and clinical skills development and create an action plan for continued development
