Year 3 Academic year: 2026/27, Starting in: September

Notes:
From 2026/27, EFI courses are delivered as 20-credit courses rather than 10-credit courses. Continuing students may therefore see some courses listed at 20 credits that were previously offered at 10 credits. The overall requirements of the programme remain unchanged.

In order to be eligible for the Service Management and Design (Fusion Online) (MSc) - 3 Years - Part-Time (ICL), students need to obtain 180 SCQF level 11 credits.

Across the 3 years of study, students must take the following:

a) 30 credits of programme compulsory courses:

- Introduction to Service Management
- Introduction to Service Design
- Value and Value Creation

b) 40 credits of EFI Skills and Methods Suite courses.

c) 40 credits of optional courses. These must include:

- A minimum of 20 credits of programme specific optional courses.
- Up to 20 credits selected from the EFI Postgraduate Taught Optional Course Portfolio.

d) 60 credits of programme core final project courses:

- Knowledge Integration and Project Planning: Service Management and Design
- Futures Project: Service Management and Design

All taught courses must be taken before the MSc final project.

The MSc must be completed within 3 years.
