Year 2 Academic year: 2026/27, Starting in: September

Notes:
In order to be eligible for the generic Award of Interdisciplinary Futures (PG Diploma) students need to obtain 120 SCQF level 11 credits.

In order to be eligible for the Sustainable Lands and Cities (Fusion Online) (PGD) - Part-Time) - 2 Years (ICL), students need to obtain 120 SCQF level 11 credits AND must take the following courses:

a) 40 credits of programme compulsory core courses.
b) 40 credits of EFI shared core courses.
c) 40 credits of optional courses.*

*A minimum of 20 credits must be selected from the programme optional course collection. The remaining 20 credits may be selected from the EFI Postgraduate Taught Optional Course Portfolio.

The PG Diploma must be completed within 2 years.

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.

EFI Postgraduate Taught students must take a minimum of 20 credits (1 course) from this collection.

We would recommend that course credits should be equally split across semesters 1 and 2. This is to support students in managing an equal workload balance during their studies.

Students may choose to take a maximum of 20 credits (1 course) from this collection.

We would recommend that course credits should be equally split across semesters 1 and 2. This is to support students in managing an equal workload balance during their studies.

Students enrolled on the owning programme of any course will be given priority. Therefore, we cannot always guarantee that you will be successful in gaining a space if student demand is high.

Students who are studying in the UK by means of a Student Visa must study all courses in-person and on-site.
