To continue without the need for an extension to the total period of study, a full-time student must attain a minimum of 80 credit points by the end of Year 1. Total credits per year must equal 120.
Students failing History of Art 1A: Images and Identity, 500-1700 and History of Art 1B: Making Meaning in the Premodern World will not be allowed to progress to Year 2 unless recommended as a Special Circumstances concession from the Exam Board. Students transferring into History of Art from another programme with no prior study in History of Art may, with the permission of the History of Art UG Director, be allowed to take History of Art 1A, 1B and History of Art 2A and 2B, concurrently in Year 2.
