Students must pass a minimum of 80 credits to be eligible to progress into Year 2.

Entry into the third year normally requires:
(i) passes in 240 credits of courses taken in the first two years, and
(ii) passes in Latin 2A and Latin 2B or in Latin 2a Ex-Beginners and Latin 2B .

Entry to honours in Classics remains at the discretion of the Head of Classics in the light of performance across all courses.
