Acronym : ACE-4-MMidi4a An introduction to the MIDI standard and its applications in sequencing and real-time control of sound synthesis and processing. An introduction to the MAX programming language will also be given. Lectures will include technical and contextual topics. Entry Requirements? - Students will understand the MIDI protocol.
- They will understand various MIDI devices, in particular hardware for synthesis and sampling. - They will operate a sequencing application with technical and aesthetic success. - They will gain experience in MIDI programming in the MAX environment. Assessment Information
