By the end of the module, you will have had the opportunity: to identify, explore and critically appraise the basic principles underlying TESOL management issues; to demonstrate the ability to apply these principles in a stated situation; to find out about Scottish practice in FL management, not as a model to be emulated but as a basis for comparison, particularly in connection with the situation in the course members' home countries; and to discuss and to demonstrate understanding of the principal TESOL management issues currently being debated in the UK and elsewhere.
