This module provides the opportunity for Supported Self-Study in a specialist area not covered by modules within the Modular Master's Scheme. It enables course members to develop a programme tailored to individually defined, professionally relevant learning outcomes and demonstrates achievement of individually negotiated learning activities. Assessment criteria and assessment procedures will be negotiated. Involves a written contract, drawn up by the course member in consultation with the course leader, which confirms agreement on learning outcomes, activities, assessment criteria, procedures and the extent of tutorial support and input required.
