Action Research (ED0657)

The aim of this module is to provide students with an opportunity to engage in action research on an aspect of their own practice, or on the practice of an institution in which they are employed. The concepts, principles, and procedures of action research are explored and students are expected to carry out a small-scale action research project. The course runs over two terms and participants are free to focus on a topic of concern to them. Teams as well as individuals are encouraged to apply. Courses based in schools and in local authorities have been a particular feature of this programme.
