Acronym : EDU-4-PrPlacSG This placement, eleven weeks at a stage of the students' choice (lower/upper) is designed to build on, use and extend experiences, learning outcomes and understandings, developed on previous placements. It is intended to be coherent and progressively demanding, maintaining a pattern of growth in all areas. Entry Requirements? This course is not available to visting students. ? Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Placement 4 provides opportunities for students to extend abilities through:
- developing and implementing effective forward planning for a period of four weeks (20 days) full responsibility - developing an appropriate strategy for organizing learning and class management - assessing and recording pupils' progress in learning - planning and undertaking systematic research on a selected aspect of a teaching programme - participating in the wider life of the school and collaborating effectively with school staff - understanding policy and practice relating to primary-secondary transition Assessment Information
At the end of the placement the school should complete a final assessment profile grading Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory.
