Motor Development 4 (ED1024)

This half-course presents an interdisciplinary perspective to the study of motor development across the life span. The most recent theoretical approaches influencing the understanding of motor development will be considered.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course students will be able to:
1. understand present motor development theory
2. recodgnise problems in motor development
3. understand the nature of critical periods
4. recognise hte importance of sensory integration
