Social Justice and Inclusion : Theories and Issues (ED1068)

The module offers an opportunity to critically explore theoretical perspectives of "social justice" in the development and delivery of human services. The theories of inclusion, social exclusion discrimination and institutional discrimination will be approached through critical review of concepts, examining the meaning brought from personal and professional settings historically and between disciplines. This module is available at any point within MMS. It can also be taken within other PG programmes of the University of Edinburgh as approved by the Co-Ordinators of those programmes.
