Teaching and Assessment for Effective Learning (Inclusive and Special Education) (ED1105)

This module will address current theory and practice in assessment and in teaching/learning. It emphasises the principles, processes and practices of differentiation as a means of promoting equality and independence in learning, within a context of curricular entitlement. The range of approaches and methodology explored will enable the teacher to meet the needs of the whole class, groupings within the class and the individual. Teachers' own needs are also addressed.
