Work-Based Learning Module (ED1111)

? Credit Points : 15  ? SCQF Level : 11  ? Acronym : EDU-P-ED1111

Work-based learning refers to learning in the workplace that takes place within a pre-arranged academic context. Students are supported by a Faculty-based tutor and a workplace mentor, both of whom must agree to the proposed area of study. Students submit a portfolio of evidence and a critical reflection upon it as part of the assessment procedure. Students should seek guidance from their programme leader or from the Academic Co-Ordinator of the Modular Masters Scheme. Tutor, mentor and student agree a contract for completion of the module, before work can begin.
