Specific Learning Difficulties : ADHD and Specific Language Impairment (ED1124)

This module is designed to examine policy and practice for children with specific learning difficulties. Teaching approaches and strategies relevant to all pupils with a specific learning difficulty will be discussed. It is important that the holistic needs of the child are considered and that professionals consult and collaborate to ensure inclusive approaches are adopted and access to an appropriate curriculum is facilitated. Course members who wish an award in Specific Learning Difficulties should have completed the core modules of the PG Certificate in Education Support and should have completed the modules SPLD : Dyslexia and SPLD : Dyspraxia, ADHD and SLI.
