By the end of the course the student should be able to:

i. Evaluate and select appropriate ICT resources.
ii. Discuss developments in control technology.
iii. Explain how advances in manufacturing technology have increased consumer choice and product availability.
iv. Identify 'new' materials and discuss their suitability for design work in secondary schools.
