Transitions, Endings, Beginnings (ED1149)

The aim of this module are; 1) to explore themes of transitions, endings and beginnings in relation to student experiences of their personal and professional lives, the course, self and the practice of counselling in which they are engaged; 2) to make connections with themes of spontaneity, creativity and the development of mutuality; 3) to engage critically with theories and research relating to transitions, attachment, separation and loss with particular reference to therapeutic processes; 4) to review and end the course and evaluate personal and professional learning. This module is only available to those students selected for and currently undertaking the Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling. This module costs an additional 390 pounds.
