This module will critically explore key issues concerned with the design, development and management of learning environments and processes in organisations. It examines a range of theories, concepts and approaches on the nature and process of learning, and its significance in the development of knowledge in organisations. The module explores a range of contemporary developments which claim to support and promote learning to facilitate increased organisational effectiveness, and examines approaches towards the building of an organisational climate where learning leads to knowledge creation and works to support the development and management of information and knowledge.
