For effective training and development to take place, programmes need to be designed to assist individuals and groups to achieve organisational and personal objectives. The focus for exploration of issues in this process will include participant's own professional or academic settings, contextualised in an overview of theoretical perspectives. The module will provide opportunities for participants to engage with social, political and cultural aspects of organisations and a broad theoretical framework relevant to the analysis of such aspects.
