This course sets out to analyse the intellectual and political manifestations of the extreme Right, both historically and in contemporary France.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

To acquire an advanced knowledge and understanding of the subject, recognising its complexity;
to construct coherent arguments which demonstrate an awareness of the problems posed by the texts and issues studied, and an ability to analyse them closely in French;
to discuss the issues raised in suitably sophisticated and formal French, both orally and in writing.
