Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

Knowledge and understanding of a particularly complex and seminal text; an awareness of the authority and cultural identity issues related to a 'great' text; an understanding, intellectual but also physical, of the drama as theatre.

Course essay (2500 words) 50%, degree exam (1.5 hours) 50%.
