Culture and Society in 20th Century Italy 2 (IT0026)

The study of the relationship between culture and society in Italy, particularly between the 1920s and the 1980s, when forms of mass culture such as popular literature, film, music, radio, television and publishing were increasingly prominent.

Entry Requirements

? Pre-requisites : A pass in Italian 1.

? Co-requisites : This course is NOT a core course and can be taken by students with a pass in Italian 1 in conjunction with other 2h courses.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

On completing the course students should be familiar with Italian cultural debate in the Twentieth Century.
