This course aims to provide insight and deepen understanding of palliative care service for dying patients in the health care system with particular consideration of the nurses' role. It offers insight into the evolution of palliative care within the health care setting. issues of pain management
symptom control
issues relating to spiritual care
research issues in respect of palliative care
nursing attitudes and skills to care for people receiving palliative care
the evolution of palliative care
