A Special Curriculum for Pupils/Students with Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties and Visual Impairment (P00054)

Teachers who work with young people with severe and complex learning difficulties and visual impairment need to be familiar with the factors affecting their development & learning. They will be working with colleagues from other professional backgrounds in assessment and programme development and delivery. They also need a detailed knowledge of the curriculum as it applies to these pupils and students eg. the elaborated curriculum of 5-14 and the Access routes of the post 16 National Awards. This module will address the above issues and topics. The additional fee is to cover extra staff and equipment provided by the Royal Blind School. Module cost: Standard Module Fee plus 225 pounds.
